Honouring myself

This life is not a small thing,
It is not a reckless fling,
This life wants me to know
That when I breath deeply I can feel and flow.
This life is full of wonder
And it shows me how to be kinder and kinder
To myself
And the other.
Like a flower life opens slowly, bit by bit
And it teaches me that I don't have to cheat
I can open in the right time
And connect to the divine and sublime,
in me.
So I learned to honour this life
and that's how I know I can thrive and feel alive.
